"But now ask the animals and let them teach you; AND THE BIRDS OF THE HEAVEN, and let them tell you. Or let the fish of the sea declare to you. Who among all these does not know that The Hand of The Lord has done this; In whose hand is the life of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind."

Eulsukdo Migratory Bird Center Part II.

Looking at the birds reminds me of two things:
1. Because of sin, there is a fear that exists in them--thus, although I try, I cannot ever get as close as I desire.
2. One day, when Jesus comes, I will be able to get as close as I desire because sin, suffering, fear, and death will be no more.

Eulsukdo Migratory Bird Center Part I.

Long Eared Owl

Hen Harrier (f)

Daurian Redstart (f-m)

Hoopoe

This is my favorite place to visit in Pusan. In total, I observed about 60 species of raptor, water fowl, and passerine. The excellent highlights were views of an odd season 'Hoopoe', a stunning 'Hen Harrier', and (2) NORTHERN LONG-EARED OWL (a personal first). I also seem to be getting somewhat advanced at shooting 'Daurian Redstarts'. 2009 was a good year to bird, capture the supernatural moments, and witness of my Creator.

Ganghwa do

I am not sure how much longer I will be able to visit Ganghwa do. There is too much road construction along the spots where I go birding. Today my highlights were: 1 Eastern Marsh Harrier; 5 Siberian Accentors; 250 Bean Goose; 12 Greater White Fronted Geese; 3 Common Buzzard & 16 Grey Plover mingling with 42 Dunlin.

2009 Birds of Korea part III

It just surpasses my cranial capacity to fully understand or appreciate my Creator's care....nonetheless HE instructs me to "Look at the birds"....to see how HE cares and provides for their needs just by opening His hand.....and yet He cares for us so much more.
